Hey there,

I am Dr. Momen!

I build user-centric Health Technology Solutions

The connection of Medicine, Technology, and Impactful Business is my secret

A Medical Doctor, Social Entrepreneur, and a growing voice in Health Technology and Research. With passion and focus on implementing user-centric, impactful solutions at the intersection of Clinical, Business, and Technology.

I wear many hats. I'm a Healthcare and digital health Consultant, where I lead the innovation engine. I oversee product strategy, and I work at the intersection of product, purpose, and possibility: architecting roadmaps and responsible application of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies in healthcare. I approach projects the same way as I approach diseases as a Medical doctor, I make sure that all the risks are maintained while aiming for a sustainable solution.

My experience over the past four years includes leading product management and strategy for my founded Al digital health platform - EYADA. Together, these efforts have positively impacting +50K of lives across Palestine. Prior to that, I co-founded IMedRa - Palestine chapter, a mentorship initiative that supported junior medical students in building foundational research skills.

My Story

My story starts with a little boy who wanted to do the best thing possible with his life. I was never quite sure what I wanted to do with my career. I lacked direction and didn't have a clear understanding of what interested me. I was born into a family where half are doctors, so becoming one felt like destiny—and that’s what happened. When I was accepted at the medical school, I thought I’d “made it” and life was about to begin.
Yet by my third year of medical school, I realized that while I truly enjoy clinical medicine, it is not what my community in Palestine most needs. Our healthcare system is damaged and fragmented, and skilled doctors are often unable to deliver the care patients deserve.

Despite strong academic performance, listed on the Board of Honor of the medical school THREE TIMES, I recognized that helping individual patients was insufficient to address structural inequalities.
In Palestine, there are over 9,000 doctors but fewer than 40 health-tech specialists. I choose to take the risk of improving the system rather than the risk of working within its chaos.

I believe everyone has a story to share, here's mine...

Medical School and Working as a Doctor

A Pivotal Moment

After completing medical school, I began to embark on a new journey into the healthcare technology sector. This was a decision fuelled by an interest in more deeply exploring how technology could help improve healthcare but also a desire to broaden my exposure to new experiences and build on other personal interests I had been developing for several years.

People often ask if I'm indecisive, but Curiosity has been my Compass. At first, I explored multiple disconnected Fields, but what initially felt like a fragmented path has given me multiple lenses to appreciate and make sense of complexity, helping me to focus and continually refine my personal mission, which is currently centred around 3 key areas:

1. Make a positive impact on healthcare using technology and innovation as key enablers

2. Build supportive, collaborative communities that are empowered to drive change

3. Support individuals to find their personal mission and accelerate their growth

Healthcare Technology Consultant

As I navigated through the intersections of healthcare, technology, and social entrepreneurship, I began to realize that my value didn’t lie in choosing one path—it lay in understanding how these paths connect. My continuous work with private companies, public institutions, and NGOs—both in Palestine and abroad—gave me an unusually holistic view of how healthcare systems succeed, fail, and evolve. I learned to speak the language of clinicians, technologists, policymakers, and entrepreneurs, and discovered that I could help bridge the gaps between them.

This is where my journey naturally led me to healthcare consulting.

Consulting became the space where my curiosity, analytical mindset, and mission-driven approach could coexist. It allowed me to take the lessons I learned as a medical student, founder, and community builder and apply them at a systemic level—designing strategies, shaping models, and guiding organizations to deliver better care.

Building my first Health-Tech Solution

In Palestine, Many medical specialties are absent, including Family Medicine, which inspired me to create EYADA, a health-tech platform powered by Artificial Intelligence to connect patients with the most suitable provider and simulate family medicine. As a Founder:

  • Awarded the First Runner-up of the Most Impactful startup in the MENA region at IGNITE9 in partnership with Google For Startups. And the Top Ten Middle East Solutions SWB Competition.

  • Secured multiple support grants from the National Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) and Al-Jabal Social Business Incubator, providing a 9-month operational boost.

  • The first healthcare service for patients in rural areas of refugee camps in the south of Palestine.

Worked With

Advocating

Growing up in Palestine—where inequality is not an exception but the daily reality—has shaped every part of who I am. It taught me that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. And it instilled in me a lifelong commitment to advancing human potential wherever possible.

My advocacy sits at the intersection of technology, impact investing, policy, and community work. I believe these tools, when used ethically and boldly, can accelerate social progress and create environments where people not only survive but thrive.

As a medical doctor, I have met human suffering and death face-to-face several times over. Because of that, I now grab life with both hands. And through my work, I advocate for you to do the same: to take risks, to build boldly, and to use your voice—because change begins with people who refuse to accept inequality as fate.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in my favorite spot in Tulkarem—my kitchen (not surprisingly!)
baking Zait & Za'atar sandwiches for my niece and nephews. I also spend my downtime weaving stories at Toastmasters Club or playing the piano whenever I need a little escape.
